An elderly woman desired to tell the memories of her college life. Her voice was sweet, her heart full of love. She asserted that college days were so special to her. She remembers her college life as a learning, optimistic and anxious time. The grandma was a girl-child, coquettish and dreamy. She was not aware of much about the world, yet she wanted to be someone better. The old lady had a new day every day. She had numerous questions in her heart but she had much hope.

According to the old lady, college was not all about books. It was also concerning the growing up. She was taught to talk, to listen and to hear others. She was taught that there was life outside the home. The old lady could see that each individual had her concerns, aspirations and plight. She remembers that she would make the college halls with a dull heart. Now little things did her make glad. A good word, a day and a little victory were very big. She lacked it all, but had hope. The old lady was inspired to go on by that hope.
She had also lots of issues during her college life. Occasionally she was lonely. At times she was scared that she was not good. And there were days, when she wanted to give up. She did so though somewhere in her heart she wanted to improve her life. Now she is proud that she did not stop. The old woman reminds that it was the days that made her patient. She was taught that in life nothing is given away. She realized that it is wearisome yet changes when one is a hardworking individual.

She hopes that the youths ought to enjoy their college life when they are enjoying it. According to her, youth goes by unnoticed. It is the same days that a person feels normal that a person carries with her a day later. She wants them to be good students, they have to respect their teachers, they love their friends and they trust themselves. The college memories of the old woman are not all in the past after all. They are development, bravery and optimism. Overall, her tale reminds us as a human of the fact that every stage of life has its task.
