As people grow older, their confessions become deeper and more meaningful. They have experienced a lot of time, a lot of transformation and been through a lot of lessons. Their vocabulary is not so difficult, yet there is much of the truth in their words. Emphasis need not be made on the fact that an old lady might not speak loudly, yet when she has her say, it might stick in your mind. In a soft and quiet manner, an elderly woman tells of her confession. Even though her hair is gray in age, she says that her heart does not feel old.
Confessions By An Old Lady
She says that time made a difference with her body, and her emotions are alive. She confesses that, sometimes, she is surprised to see herself in the mirror, as she does not feel as old as she is. The elder woman discloses that she spends a lot of time contemplating her past. She claims that memories come to her quietly particularly when she is alone. Certain of these memories cause her to smile, some of them to feel. She embraces them all, as they are part of her experience. She is of the opinion that by remembering, she is able to keep alive her life.
The grandma recounts that she is slower than ever. She says that her legs are not that fast, her strength is different. But she continues to inform us that she has learnt to do things at her own pace without worry. According to her, it is no longer a contest in life and she is glad that she gets to take her time. We are told by the old lady that she is lonely at times, even in a large home. She tells her that the world she lives in is rapidly transforming and at times it is hard to keep a track of everything. However, she tries to stay in touch and be able to learn new things, regardless of time.

The grandma tells that she has come to value peace more than anything. She says that she does not like noise and stress. She prefers being on her own and reflecting and relaxing. Peace in her view is more precious than right and triumph in an argument. The old lady proves that she is a good lady in regards to her family. She mentions that she may not say it all the time, but she has her heart thinking about them. She cares about their lives and happiness. She loves him a lot and a lot even when she is not talking.

The grandma tells the story of how she has learnt to live life as it is. She narrates that not everything can be controlled and that is okay. She is also happier because she is not hanging on to any anger or regrets. Rather, she chooses to live a wise and tolerant life. These are confessions which are simple to make but profound confessions. They exhibit a life that has learned and lived and grown. The reason they are questioning is because they are highly experienced and they are easy to understand because they are precise.
