They always had a sinister air about them. Since I was a young child, I have never found dolls to be adorable or cute, even if they were fully normal and dressed nicely. Maybe because I was raised watching Child’s Play, I automatically assumed that my dolls would try to kill me in my sleep by coming to life in the middle of the night like the Chucky doll. 

My mother used to ask me to sleep with my dolls in my bed, but I would just toss them out. Additionally, I would detest receiving dolls as a birthday present. I can’t help but disagree with them.
