Without the aid of Photoshop, an artist transforms her small studio space into fantastical dreamscapes

Dreamscapes: An artist who goes created these surreal dreamscapes by transforming her small studio room into a fantasy world, without using any kind of photo editing software. The inspiration for her work comes from childhood memories and dreams, which she uses to recreate surreal environments in real life.

Jee Young Lee’s work is so meticulous that it frequently requires weeks or even months to complete. When the surreal sets are finished, the artist creatively incorporates herself into them to create these stunning self-portraits.

The artist asserts that each photography set and her specific roles within it tell a specific story about her own life experiences or revive old Korean folktales or other cultural artefacts from around the globe. Her art serves as a vehicle for the artist to reflect deeply on herself and explore her psychological identity. Scroll down below to enjoy the Dreamscapes.
