Let’s find out what other Redditors think about this story.

At the end of the day, this isn’t just about one pay cut — it’s about respect and fairness in the workplace. If management wants me to take on technician-level work, then I deserve technician-level pay. I’m not trying to be difficult, but I also refuse to be exploited under the guise of “helping out.” Some of my coworkers think I’m right, others think I’m being stubborn, but I can’t shake the feeling that this is bigger than just me. So I’m left with the ultimate question: was I wrong to draw this line in the sand, or is it about time someone did?
