Dreams the cranberries, The cranberry song, Using Images in Lead Generation

There’s something about the dreamy, wistful quality of the cranberry song that just makes you want to stay in bed all day. It’s like the perfect song to listen to when you’re all cozy under the covers, letting your mind wander.

And that’s kind of the appeal of dreams in general, isn’t it? They let us explore the world without ever having to leave our bed. They offer a chance to escape from reality and explore new and exciting worlds. But what if we could use dreams to explore our own world? What if we could use them to generate leads for our business?

1. Introduction

  • Dreaming is a natural extension of alertness when you slip away while still being awake.
  • It’s the stage immediately after waking up when your mind and body are just trying to regroup.
  • If you hooked yourself up to EEGs, the recording device you wear on your head, then you can see your brain’s electrical activity while you’re awake.
  • A study on dream and brain activity found that electrical activity in the brain mirrors activity in your mind.
  • The brain doesn’t just register what you are seeing or thinking. It sometimes creates the images themselves.
  • This isn’t the same as lucid dreaming as some people confuse between them.
  • Lucid dream are those where we are aware we are dreamers and can choose what to do in the dream world. Someone who is lucid in the dream only has awareness of the fact that they are in the dream at least on some level.
  • Strictly speaking lucid dreaming should be only a short part of someone’s life dream. But most of those people have their sleep quality improved so they rarely have dreams.
  • So they dream longer lengths of time generally the whole night. These can often be about specific topics or potential problems, so it’s important you consider whether what you want to dwell on is harmful or not.

2. Uses of the Word “Dreams” in Lead Generation

So why should businesspeople dream about dreaming when they could dream about creating a plan that they can leverage, target, and control?

The fact is, in any relationship that’s important to us, we are more likely to stick to our very first impulses. And in the world of business, we’re more likely to go with the first thing that comes to us—or to think of lead generation as the perfect excuse to dream (and if that comes out, it means it didn’t just come to me). It’s like this: When we think about salespeople selling things to us, we either think about a relationship that holds us back: the one where we tell them no. Or we imagine a relationship that comes without a contract: the one where we seek something.
