AITA for causing my dad’s wife to have a breakdown with my “revenge playlist”?

Sometimes, it feels like adults forget that kids are the ones who pay the highest price for their selfish choices. I never thought I’d be the type of person to stir drama, but after everything my dad and his new wife put me and my brothers through, I honestly couldn’t stay silent anymore. I (16F) have three younger brothers, and ever since our dad cheated, remarried his mistress, and tried to force us to accept her as “mom,” our lives have been turned upside down. We’ve been ignored, punished, manipulated, and treated like outsiders in what used to be our own home. So, I started fighting back in the only way I could think of—through music.

AITA?

At the end of the day, I don’t feel guilty. She made her choices, she blew up our family, and now she wants us to pretend everything is perfect while treating us like we’re disposable. If playing cheating songs is what it takes to remind her of the damage she caused, then so be it. I’m tired of being told to “respect” someone who disrespects me, my siblings, and my mom at every turn. Maybe it was petty, maybe it was harsh, but it felt like the only way to reclaim a little power in a situation where we’ve had none. So tell me—was I out of line, or was I just standing up for myself and my family in the only way I knew how?
